History of the Company

Langford & Palmer was established in 2009 and is based in Brisbane, Australia. Although a relatively young company, our valuers have valuing experience of over 30 years.

Who we work with

Our clients include individuals, insolvency and legal firms, insurance companies, executors and estate advisors, private and corporate collectors, superannuation funds, fine art galleries and art dealers. We offer a personalised service for those who wish to sell or buy jewellery and art.

Auction Services

Langford & Palmer specialises in auction advice. There is much to consider for a successful sale result at auction, factors such as timing of the sale, catalogue positioning, and location of the auction eg. Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore or Hong Kong.

Langford & Palmer also executes bids on behalf of our clients who wish to purchase jewellery or art, ensuring every lot is acquired at the best possible price subject to reserves and other bidders, and with the utmost confidentiality and discretion on behalf of all our clients.

Valuations

Langford & Palmer offers a prompt and wide range of specialist valuation services to private collectors, corporations, government organisations, executors and financial advisors. Valuations can be for insurance, market appraisal, probate or family division. All valuations are undertaken on a strictly confidential basis.

Fees

Our fees are based on an hourly rate, a project fee or a commission.
